On arrival in Sri Lanka you will be met by our representative and transferred to Chilaw. Visit Muneeshwaram Temple, Chilaw
Muneswaram Temple, Chilaw
* After his victorious battle, Lord Rama left for Ayodhya, in one of King Ravana's vimana (carriages). He felt he was being followed by bramhaasthi dosham as he had killed King Ravana who was a Brahmin. Legend has it that when he came to this place he felt bramhaasthi dosham was not following him and he stopped the vimana and asked God Shiva for remedy. Lord Shiva blessed Lord Rama and advised him to install four lingams there and pray to get rid of the dosham. Since then many Hindu devotees flock to the Temple.
Thereafter proceed to Mannavari Temple. (Approximately 20 Minutes Drive)
Manaweri Temple
* Manavari is the first lingam installed and prayed to by Lord Rama and this lingam is also called Ramalinga Shivan.

Evening Visit the Sigiriya Rock Fortress
Sigiriya Sigiriya Rock Fortress - is a "UNESCO World Heritage Site" and the 5th Century "Fortress in the Sky" which is perhaps the most fantastic single wonder of the Island. It is also known as Lion Rock because of the huge lion that used to stand at the entrance to the Palace on the summit of the 600-foot high rock. On its summit are the foundations of the Royal Palace, Water Tanks to supply water and all other buildings and at the edges the guardhouses. On one of the stairways the only known ancient work of Sinhala secular painting survived in the form of Frescoes of 21 life sized damsels still shining in their original colours. The Water Gardens, Fountain Garden, Summerhouses, Boulder Gardens and the Caves within the enclosed area should not be missed.

Visit Thiru Koneshwaram Temple & Hot Water Spring.
Thiru Koneshwaram was built by sage Agasthyar as per the instructions of Lord Shiva who was impressed by the devotion of King Ravana. This place has the uniqueness of the lord building a temple for his devotee as a reward for his devotion. Lord Rama also offered his prayers on his return to get himself rid of the Brahmaasthi Dosham
Return to Sigiriya.

In the morning commence city tour of Kandy, including Upper Lake Drive, Market Square and the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.
Kandy - The hill capital. Venue of the annual Perahera. The last stronghold of the Sinhala Kings was finally ceded to the British in 1815. Kandy is an example of the Buddhism's influence in Sri Lanka today. Temple's shrines and monasteries keeping alive Buddhist traditions are everywhere.
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - Ever since 4th Century A.D, when the Buddha's Tooth was brought to Sri Lanka hidden from sacrilegious hands in an Orissan princess' hair, the Relic has grown in repute and holiness in Sri Lanka and throughout the Buddhist world. It is considered Sri Lanka's most prized possession.
Visit to gem and lapidary museum in Kandy
Evening visit Cultural show.

Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple, Ramboda
On these hills of Ramboda where Hanuman was searching for Sitadevi, the Chinmaya mission of Sri Lanka built a temple with Hanuman as the presiding deity. On every full moon day special pooja's are conducted and witnessed by thousands of devotees.
Evening Visit Sita Amman Temple
Nuwara Eliya - Sita Amman Kovil
According to the Indian Epic Ramayanaya and the legends, the area where Sita, Queen of King Rama of Ayodhya in India, who was abducted by Ravana the King of Sri Lanka, was kept in hiding and the area she roamed is in the hill country of Sri Lanka.
In Nuwara Eliya is the "Sita Amman Kovil" - a quaint little Kovil, with the statues of Rama, Sita, Hanuman, Lakshmana and Sugriva.
This is supposed to be the only Kovil in the entire World dedicated to Sita. The stream by the side of the Temple is a famous spot where she went for bathing.

Visit Ashok Vatika (Hakgala Botanical Garden)
The Hakgala Botanical Garden was one of the pleasure gardens of King Ravana of the well-known epic Ramayanaya. This garden was expanded during the British period and has a wide variety of flowers including an excellent collection of orchids.
This is the exotic pleasure garden where king Ravana kept the depressed Sita, insisting that she marry him. It was here where the heart-warming meeting took place between her and Hanuman, who brought her Rama's ring with the news that Rama was looking for her. He offered to carry her back but she refused saying it would be an insult to Rama's honour if he did so. Part of this majestic garden still exists. It is also said that Hanuman nearly destroyed it in order to prove to Ravana of the forces against him.
Then proceed to welimada Visit Diurumpola (Agnipariksha Place)
Then Visit Ravan Cave & Ravana Fall in Ella
Return to Nuwara Eliya.

Transfer to Colombo.
Visit Kelaniya Temple (Vibhishana Temple) & Anjiniyar Temple.
Proceed to city tour in Colombo with shopping.
Rest of the day at leisure in the hotel.
