Day: 1 Arrive at Guwahati
Upon arrival at Guwahati –popularly famous as City of Temple & as known as Gateway to Northeastern city. Receive by our representative and transfer to the hotel. En-route we will visit Holy Maa Kamakhya temple, situated in the top of the Nilachal hill to give homage before starting the journey. Finally transfer to the resort/hotel for overnight stay.
Day: 2 Guwahati - Manas Tiger Reserve (176 Km)
Early morning after breakfast drive to Manas National park (176 Km 2½ hrs) check in at resort on arrival at Manas, evening we will do jeep safari & if time possible we can do evening river cruise on Manas River (Cruise is optional& at own cost). Overnight at resort/ hotel.
Day: 3 Manas - Kaziranga (254 Km)
Early morning we will go for elephant safari in the Park, Manas National Park is situated on the foothills of the Himalayas and a part of it extends to Bhutan. It was declared a sanctuary on October 01, 1928 and was designated a World Heritage site in December 1985. The sanctuary is home to a great variety of wildlife, including tiger, Golden Langur, Wild Buffalo, Hispid Hare, Pigmy Hog, Capped Langur, Indian one-horned Rhinoceros, Elephant, Gaur, Hog Deer, etc. After safari back to the resort for breakfast, we will drive to Kaziranga (254 km) Reach Kaziranga by evening, check in at resort, rest of the time free for leisure. Overnight at resort/hotel.
Day: 4 Kaziranga
Wake up in the dawn & drive to the central range of the park for an exciting elephant safari in world heritage Kaziranga National Park. Located in the heart of Assam on the bank of the majestic Brahmaputra is the Kaziranga National Park. Kaziranga National Park in Assam is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds.
Assam Kaziranga National Park covers an area of approximately 430-sq-kms with its swamps and tall thickets of elephant grass making it the most ideal habitat for the one-horned Indian Rhino. Due to countless poaching of this prehistoric survivor, the Kaziranga National Park was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1940. Back to the resort for breakfast & leisure
In the evening we will again go out for another exciting jeep safari in the western range of the park “Home of big five-Rhino - Tiger –Elephant –Hoge Deer –Buffalo” also popular for verity of migratory & local birds. Return to the lodge by evening, overnight at resort.
Day 5: Kaziranga-Guwahati (225 Km)
Morning after breakfast we will drive to Guwahati, evening we will visit Umananda Island temple, Assam State Museum, Govt. emporium. We can do dinner cruise on mighty Brahmaputra (payment basis). Overnight at hotel.
Day 6: Back to Home
Morning after breakfast we are free pack our baggage & transfer accordingly to the airport, if we miss the chance to visit Holy Maa Kamakhya, en-route we can for an hour. Tour Terminates.
