Day 01: Arrive in Srinagar
You will be arriving at Srinagar airport from where you will be welcomed and transported to the city. The distance between airport and the city is around 35 km. you will be in houseboat for check-in. Refresh yourself and be ready for 2 hours Shikara ride in the lake. During this ride, you will be feeling the wonderful experience as the boat ride glided you past some amazing vegetable gardens and aquatic life. Your dinner will be in hotel or houseboats with overnight stay there.
Day 02: Srinagar to Gulmarg: (Full Day trip)
Awake in the morning with a view of natural view. Get yourself free from daily activities and breakfast to enjoy your trip towards Gulmarg. You will pass through villages and rice fields that will give you an insight of the rich cultural past of the beautiful state. During your Gulmarg visit, you will also explore Tangmarg – the small picturesque market town. In the beautiful place Gulmarg, you will be enjoying a lot more like 8 minutes of ropeway that will take you to colorful shepherd hutments to the lower ridge of the Afarwatt peak. In the evening, you will be back to Srinagar. Here, you will get some more time to walk along Dal Lake or explore the marketplaces or stay in houseboat or hotel to relax. Overnight stay in hotel or houseboats.
Day 03: Srinagar to Pahalgam (Full day trip)
On this day, you will be moving towards Pahalgam that is around 97 km South of Kashmir. Pahalgam is known for its exotic forest ranges, pretty water streams, imposing snow peaks and natural wonders. Here, you will be visiting Betaab Valley and Chananwari along with enjoying horse riding to Baisaran Meadows. In the evening, you will be back to the hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04: In Srinagar: Local sightseeing – Half a day
After awaking in the morning, take your breakfast to ready for the half day local sightseeing. You will be visiting famous Mughal Gardens of Nishat and Shalimar Garden along with a number of other gardens in the beautiful city of Srinagar. Not forget to mention the backdrop of the sprawling Zabarwan mountains and the garden that always boast of green turfs, blooming flowers and cascading water fountains. Late drive to the hotel and overnight stay here.
Day 05: Drive to Mulbekh& stay in Shergol Camp: (235 Kms 7-8 hrs)
Awake in the morning and after becoming free from routine life, enjoy your breakfast to explore the high mountains. You will be driving to Mulbekh & Stay in Shergol Camp. Here, you will be ascending the Zozila Pass and crossover into Ladakh region. You will be carried to small and scanty village of Drass and onwards to Kargil. After enjoying your tea in Kargil, you will be moving for another hours journey to the picturesque campsite at Shergol. After your arrival here, you will be transfer to the camp for dinner and overnight sty in Camp.
Day 06: Driving to Leh along the Indus: (200 Kms 6-7 hrs)
Enjoy your breakfast after awakening in the morning to pack your bags for Leh. En-route, you will be enjoying passes of Namikala and Fotula. You will also explore Lamayuru monastery and later drive to Leh. You will be transfer to the hotel in the city outskirts. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.
Day 07: In Leh
A fresh morning in Leh. After breakfast, you will be on the full day sightseeing tour to explore the prime attractions that include the Tibetan Buddhist Gompas of Shey, Thiksey and Hemis. You will explore Shey at a few km up the Indus that is an ancient capital known for its palaces, temples and murals. After exploring all these, you will be on the way towards Monastery of Thikse and Hemis Monastery. After visiting these sacred monasteries, you will be back to Leh in the evening to spend some time in local marketplaces. Overnight stay in hotel.
Day 08: Leh to Pangong: (125 Kms / 5 hrs each way)
After early breakfast drive for a visit of Pangong Lake via Chang La pass. The drive takes you through spectacular, amazing scenery, with breathtaking views of the snow covered Himalayas. The Lake is the highest (4267M) salt-water lake in the world, situated along the India / China border. It is about 130 Km long and 5-6 Km wide. The Chang - chenmo range surrounding it from the north provide a spectacular backdrop to the blue and green expanse of its brackish water. Later drive back to Leh. Overnight Hotel.
Day 09: Leh to Nubra: (130 km / 4-5hrs drive)
We will drive to Nubra valley in the morning, driving over the highest motored pass in the world. The exciting journey through serpentine roads leads us to the Khardungla Pass at an awesome height of 5550 meters. We stop at the pass to admire and click some photographs of the fantastic view, before driving down into the Nubra valley. The valley is situated on an old caravan route at the confluence of the Shyok and the Nubra rivers. We drive to our fixed camp resort and later drive to visit the charming valley, of Deskit – the tiny capital of Nubra. The capital is marked by a single file of shops that are put up on the main road. We will visit the DeskitGompa, perched on a rocky spur above the village, with a commanding view of the entire valley. From Deskit we will drive to Hunder past an area of sand dunes and get aquinted with the famous Bactrian camels. This small population of shaggy double-humped animals, which in the old days, were used as pack animals on the Central Asian trade routes are now used as riding animals in the high deserts. In the late afternoon we will drive to the camp. Overnight in Camps.
Day 10: Nubra to Leh: (130 km / 4-5 hrs drive)
We will drive back to Leh, driving on the same route and crossing the Khardungla pass yet again. We arrive at Leh in the afternoon and settle for the day at our hotel.
Day 11: Departure
After breakfast drive back to the Leh airport for your flight to any onward destination.
