Day 1: Guwahati
Morning arrival at Guwahati Airport, receive by our representative, en-route we will visit – Maa Kamakhya Temple. Check at hotel/ resort for leisure and overnight stay.
Day 2: Shillong Local Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast drive to Shillong, en-route visit –Urmiam lake at Barapani, at Shillong visit – Don Bosco Museum, Ward Lake, Lady Hydria Park, Golf field etc, evening free to explore the local market.
Day 3: Shillong – Cherapunjee (65 Km)
Morning drive to Cherrapunjee, Cherrapunjee is locally and officially also known as Sohra. It is situated at a distance of 65 kms from Shillong. Return to Shillong by evening for overnight stay.
Day 4: Shillong –Jowai
Morning after breakfast excursion to Jowai, headquarters of the Jaintia Hills district is situated 64 kms away from Shillong, along the Shillong-Silchar national highway. A picturesque town circled by the majestic Myntdu River. Jowai was the summer capital of the Jaintia Kings, of Sutnga State. Huge monoliths form the striking landmark of the village, said to be erected by Mar Phalyngki, a goliath ot yore. The Nartiang menhir measure 27 feet in height above the ground, 6 feet in breadth and 2 feet 6 inches in thickness. The monoliths represent the megalithic culture of the Hynniewtrep people. A 500 Years old temple of Durga is another attraction at Nartiang. Back to Shillong by evening overnight.
Day 5: Back to Home
Morning after breakfast we are free to pack our luggage & transfer to the airport / station for onward journey. Tour Terminates.
