Day 1 : Arrive Paro and drive to Thimphu
Arrive at Paro International Airport & Complete Immigration formalities and transfer to Thimphu.
After checking into your hotel, proceed for sightseeing of Thimphu, administrative capital of Bhutan.
Visit the following places of tourist interest:
Memorial Chorten
Kuensel Phodrang – World’s Largest Buddha Statue
Takin Reserve & Mini Zoo
BBS Tower – Provides a panoramic view of Thimpu Valley
Overnight in Thimphu (No Meals)
Day 2 : In Thimphu
After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Thimphu, including the following places of interest:
Folk Heritage Museum
Royal Textile Academy & Museum
Anim Dratshang (Nunnery)
Trashichho Dzong – Fortress in Thimphu
Handicrafts Emporium
Note – On weekends, guests would also have the opportunity of visiting the interesting weekend market, a unique weekly market with local items and bargain price handicraft goods.
Overnight in Thimphu (Breakfast only)
Day 3 : Thimphu to Paro (Drive)
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and proceed to Paro.
The Paro valley extends from the confluence of the Paro Chhu and the Wang Chhu rivers at Chuzom upto Mt. Jomolhari at the Tibetan border to the North. This picturesque region is one of the widest valleys in the kingdom and is covered in fertile rice fields and has a beautiful, crystalline river meandering down the valley.
After checking into your hotel, you would proceed for a sightseeing tour of Paro which would include the following places:
Drukgyel Dzong – Ruins of an old fortress in Paro
Kyichu Lakhang – Famous Monastery in Paro
Ta Dzong – National Musuem of Bhutan
Overnight in Paro (Breakfast only)
Day 4 : In Paro
After breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Chele La Pass (12,200ft), the highest motorable point in Bhutan.
On a clear day one can get a breathtaking view of Mt. Jhomolhari (23,996 ft the second highest peak of Bhutan) and other Himalayan peaks. Visit Paro Dzong while returning to Paro. Rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 5 : Depart Paro
