Badrinath with Hemkund Sahib

Depart for Rishikesh by road. Upon arrival at Rishikesh, check in at your hotel. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the city on your own. Evening Ganga Arti at Triveni Ghat,or Pramarth Nikrtan.  Overnight at Rishikesh.

Morning after breakfast drive to Birahi via Devpryag ,Rudrapryag, Karanpryag night halt at Birahi.

Morning after breakfast drive to Govindghat (1830m) on the true right bank of the Alaknanda River crossing the Suspension Bridge over the Alaknanda River and commence the steady ascent on the concrete path to the village of Pulana. (2100m). Beyond Pulana continue along the well-defined trail that leads through a mixed forest of Oak, Rhododendron and Spruce and silver fire before winding down to the bridge over the Hem Ganga. The trail ascends steeply at first through the forest before gradually winding across the meadows to Ghangharia. Ghangharia (3050m), also known as Govind Dham, is a large pilgrim complex, having a Gurudwara. Overnight at Ghangaria.

Morning after breakfast trek to Hemkunt which is the world's highest shrine, situated at an altitude of 4329 mts and on the bank of a Glacier Lake surrounded by several towering pinnacles of snow, reflected in its clear water. It is believed that Guru Govind Singh, the tenth guru of the sikh faith had meditated on the bank of this lake. Overnight at Ghangaria.

Morning after breakfast cross the bridge over Hem Ganga and commence the climb to the entrance of the Bhyunder Valley. About 2kms to 3 kms beyond the checkpoint, the trail crosses the stream flowing from the Bhyunder Valley and continues on the true right. The 5 kms climb is more gradual than the one to Hem Kund. On the ascent, the trail enters a gorge before the valley widens. There is a permanent snow bridge over one of the larger side streams. This marks the entrance to the valley. Overnight at Ghangaria.

After crossing Pandukeshar & Hanumanchatti we arrived at Badrinath the 4th and the last Dham in uttrakhand.This ancient pilgrims placed on the bank of river  Alknanda surrounded by snow clad hills of himalayan and such it is known as a “Readies on Earth”.It is said that Adi Guru Sankracharya found the idol of God Badrinathji from the Naradkund and setup the temple of Shri Badri Vishal.pilgrims after having a bath in the Tapatkund have the darshan of Badrivishal.Brahamakapal is significant for pind dan shraddh of ancestors. There are other inter, overnight stay at Badrinath ji.

Morning after breakfast trek back to Joshimath. On arrival to Govindghat drive to Joshimath and check-into the hotel. Auli sight seeing overnight at Joshimath.

After morning breakfast departure for Rishikesh, overnight at Rishikesh.

Drive back to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi, escort to railway station / airport. (happy tour end)
